General
Shooting across the water bouncing choppy seas, speedboat engine fully fired and fighting its restraint is what a Sunday afternoon is all about for me, if not that then maybe a mountain adventure. And no I’m not brave for I will be the one you see quaking in her boots. My father used to say that I’d been dropped on my head at birth, always the one to climb to the top of a tree then inevitably needing rescuing! Which brings me back to my campaign you don’t have to be a dare-devil to require the assistance of our coastguards anything from beach trips to a drive across the moors can instigate a crisis whereby you will rely on their expertise…
Devotion to their career has gone above and beyond with our Coastguards. Losing their beloved jobs, homes and for some facing illness has not deterred them from fighting with every last breath the imminent station closures inflicted by our government. Unfair and outright criminal, Britain depends upon its Coastguards and all statistics point to this yet they are still to be replaced with Call-Centres. That heroic structure and vital local knowledge set to be lost forever…
Drowning in Despair
Having been brought up in a Welsh mining community and with military links, I was inherently lucky to be instilled with a fighting spirit and a desire to seek unity for a cause. There is nothing greater than those who stand together, yet unlike our forefathers we are beginning to shy away from that existence and close our door to the tragedies set to befall us…
The sad truth is that as broken Britain sinks further into despair its Governments continue to yield their mighty sword. A once proud nation faces the dilemma of its history being erased with every cruel swipe! Our Coastguards, long since established as unsung heroes are fresh to the firing line facing up to 50% station closures. Of course once the sword falls there is little doubt that this wound will grow deeper. Coastguards offer an intrinsic knowledge, a deep-rooted understanding of both land and sea and critically this is further enforced with their aptitude for assessing climate and structural traits…

Just to start off on a complete tangent...
I watched an SBS television program on Sunday night about Norway, on the trek to the incredible Northern Lights. Apart from a section on the Ice Hotel - which melts every Summer and is re-crafted every winter - there was also a very interesting section on the Norwegian Sami's or Shamans who have a rather unusual chanting method called Yoiking.
Essentially a Yoik is a song sung, traditionally without accompanyment that isn't so much 'about' something or someone, but rather is a distillation of their 'essence'. Children have their Essence sung when they are born, and this unique song remains attached to them and is remembered by the Sami.
Yoiking was apparently banned as 'Paganism' in Norway until only just recently when "in the 1990's the Norwegian King apologised for discrimination against the Sami people and their culture". (See end of the linked article).
A nice, short precis of this ancient practice is here if you want to research further.
I can't help but see tie-in here with the work of Dr. Emoto and his vibrational studies on water.
Anyone else got any insights?
Well, activity is starting to build, and people are starting to join up. Thank you so much for accepting the invitation. Once you are on as a registered "Networker" why not let others know about you in a brief blog entry. Blogs are your forum to announce, discuss, create ideas and do the Vision-thing and keep us all updated what you're doing. Which is precisely the reason why this site was created!
As well if you've not yet done so, why not write one or two lines about yourself in your "Specialities" section. You can edit that under
My Account> Edit> About You
You can change this at any time!
Let me know if you have any questions. We're all learning as we go along!!
Happy Resonating!

Hi Pete
Aren't you a clever fella? I'll have a play with the site and test drive it for you. They don't call me "crash" at work for nothing you know!
Looking forward to seeing what comes from this
Cheers
