Our thoughts, our words, our actions and our surroundings (people, environment, sound, visual, textile, etc.) correlate with our state of being. Therefore, we must think, speak, act and choose surroundings that generate the state of being we want to experience. For example, being peaceful is my highest state of being. Right after I woke up today, I meditated for thirty minutes, chanted "om" for eleven minutes and stretched. Then I made a mental list of positive aspects of myself and life and a mental list of people, places and things I am thankful for being a part of my experience. (I continued to think and speak positively by focusing on positive side of everyone and everything and acknowledging my appreciation of everyone and everything I interacted with throughout the day.) 



Next I had all-fruit breakfast. Then I went to indoors climbing gym to lift weights, climb, stretch and detox in sauna followed by a nice cool shower. I ate a really healthy lunch mindfully when I got home. (Mindful eating is eating without talking, browsing the web, etc.). Next I worked on a painting for two hours, and I played music an hour. Then I worked mindfully. Afterwards, I played music for another hour, ate a light snack and listened to beautiful upright bass solo played with bow while meditating. Next I meditated in my room with just a flickering flame of a small candle. In other words, I thought, spoke, acted and placed myself in surroundings that generate state of peace.



As a result, I felt deeply peaceful throughout my entire day. This state of peace was a mental, emotional, spiritual and physical experience. I felt peaceful in every fiber of my body. Ultimately, my point is this: we must make conscious choices to experience the state of being we want to experience. So I invite you to do the same. First, choose to think and speak positively by focusing on positive aspects of everyone and everything and acknowledging people, places and things you appreciate. Second, make a list of things you can do that will generate the state of being you want to experience. Third, brainstorm audio, visual, textile surrounding and people that you could surround yourself with that would generate the state of being of your choice. (It is best to turn off the T.V. and use the Internet purposefully.) I recommend that you choose to experience positive state of being, such as happy, peaceful, thriving, etc.
